Dr Wai graduated medical studies in Myanmar (Burma), and he volunteered for 3 years there in a charity hospital which looked after pro-democracy activists and the most disadvantaged.

He migrated to Australia in 2006 where for the next 5 years he worked as a remote area GP in Exmouth, and then as a Senior Medical Practitioner in the fields of Emergency medicine and hospital-based General medicine.

After gaining experience as a senior clinician in these diverse medical specialties, Dr Wai became a community-based GP in 2011. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. In 2018 he became an accredited training supervisor for future Australian GP’s.

Dr Wai enjoys looking after his patients, ensuring they receive the best possible medical care.

Dr. Joseph Diaz

General Practitioner

Dr Joseph Diaz specializes in Family Medicine. He is a a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

As a family physician he provides comprehensive health care. He is dedicated to treating the whole person, across all gender and age. He advocates for the patient in the health care system.

In addition to diagnosing and treating illness, he also 
provides preventive care, including routine check-ups, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests, and personalized counselling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

He also manages chronic illness, often coordinating care provided by

other specialists.

Dr. May Maung

General Practitioner

Dr May graduated her medical studies in Myanmar (Burma) and had her specialist post-graduate studies in Western Australia.  She is a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. 

Dr May worked in diverse medical sectors of Geraldton Hospital till she commenced community-based medicine in 2016. Dr May is available weekdays for consultations in regard to any aspects of medical condition. 

She is also competent in women’s health including gynaecological procedures such as cervical screening and implanon procedures.

Dr May welcomes new patients.
